I found quite a lot of both to be cinematically overwhelming, even if the plot of innocence was, in places, dodgy. The bit in 'innocence' where they're visiting wassname. The dude, and he keeps making them repeat the scene over and over again is brilliantly done.

As interesting as she is, no she's not on my "get" list :P . However if, as the article says, she was going for $23 I'd buy her.

I got a new figure this week though :D . You can check her out at my new blog. I'm hoping to post all my figures there with full photo reviews.

I really enjoyed 'Innocence', as I said. It raised real issued with the world it created: personal security and privacy issues, not to mention how ethics would work in a society with very few boundaries.

Strange how out of all the photos of Yuiko you only had one which violates the imageshack terms :P
was Yuiko024.jpg

Haha, yes I think I can see why. It's the only picture with breasts exposed without the katana in the way. It's basically the same as the final picture, just without the katana in the way. I'll remove it.

No fully cast-off figures from Photobucket then  .

I'd buy her. :drunk:

BT. I like your blog! You should def post more pics of your minitures. The close up shots are great. I can see why you would use a camera without a flash, they seem to glow even without it, but if you tried taking the shots outside with no flash, they'd come out a little brighter but would still not have the glare. That's what I do with any pictures of myself -pale skin= instant glare with flash- it works well.

I'd looove to see more of them, they're so cute! Do they have squishy breasts too? That's what I always hated about Barbie as a kid, her breasts were hard plastic.

EDIT: No Double Posting!

Yes, the lack of squishy boobs was the common complaint among girls with regard Barbie.

I would take pictures of my figures outside, but then.... it's scary out there.

The Villetta Nu pictures were taken with everything on auto and the curtains closed. That's why they look really dark and discoloured.

For the Yuiko pictures I put a cover over a tall stool and put her beside an open window and removed any auto settings that I could. I also found that once the camera focuses, if I then move it won't refocus. So I can use that to focus on parts that the "auto focus" doesn't want to. (No manual focus  ).

I've updated the pictures so you can now click on them and see a higher resolution. Of course this now shows just how crap I am at photography. They almost all have the shakes. I'm going to have to get a camera stand or something.

Also, no figures with squishy boobs . However I have one fully castoffable figure, where fully = everything (It was actually the very first figure I bought  ).

Sounds good, I'll take a look. If your camera is prone to shakes, either A) invest in a cheap camera stand or b) place it on a table or other flat surface which adds more stability and cuts down on the shaking while taking the photo. AND no more taking pictures in the dark. Light is goooood. But completly agree on the scary outside part.

I have a firm rule, only go outside for: 1) Medieval Re-enactment Events 2)Education 3)Pagan Student Union 4) Gardening in the rain AND 5) The Electronics Dept. I'd add hot girls to the list but I'm too shy to talk to them, and I don't do hot guys -all my friends are nerds and guys- we don't do "hot", more like geekery with a hint of juvenile innuendo.

What's the point of annatomically correct if nothing's squishy?

Gary: I pick up a hint of sarcasm there. I always thought Barbie would have been much more fun if she wasn't such a rigid Bitch. Maybe then Ken wouldn't have been cheating on her with the soft and supple gymnastics Barbie-clone. But this is pure speculation of course.

Did any one else buy Wolfs Rain cause It say on the back they only made 500 but that seems unlikely
and if they only made 500 is that for the uk or all english speaking countries
