Another average performance by england under capello, Defoe and lennon probably 2 of the best performances out of all the players. Heskey was rubbish (like always) I don't know why he is even included in the squad and Green was shocking he catches the ball about about 2 yards outside the area and then he was at fault for the goal, Robinson should be england no1. Other than that it wasn't too bad :|

Heskey is a weird player. He's always been regarded as underrated because everyone has a go at him when he's actually done some decent things in the England squad.

To be honest, I think he's having a rough patch at the moment. He hasn't exactly shone since he joined Villa, plus he didn't play in the win against Liverpool and Fulham (whilst Gabby Agbonlahor looks to have found his form again and was brilliant in both.). So he's been a bit poor recently.

I'm seriously hoping he regains his form. Although you really can't bank on him to be a goalscorer, as he never has been.

Went well for most of the home nations.

The way Defoe is going, you'd think he has to pick him. Croatia will be tough though, so should be good game.

So Sol walks out on Notts County. Can't say I'm completely shocked.
