Did England have a great game or were Wales off the boil?

I vote for that England had a great game. Saying that it could have been closer if Dylan Hartley had gone to the sin bin after all the warnings he got.

All in all it was a good round of games. Scotland nearly beating France gives me some hope.

Oh and come on Italy! :P

So I suppose congratulations are in order (he says through gritted teeth :) ), it was a nice result for BOD.

And at least England look like there is hope for a decent world cup.

Yeah, we lost it on that damn France ending.

Still, rather Ireland than Wales. I may be half welsh but nothing sickens me more than Butler, Davies and co warbling on, which Englishmen fawning over them in order to be fair.

I do think the title should have been decided head-to-head, but there it is.
Well done, Ireland.

Supposedly back in the day they would share the championship. Feck that.

Still winning it was a good send off for BOD and made it worth the effort D'Arcy put into growing that big caveman beard of his.

Kind of strange seeing BOD retire. I remember watching one of his first games for Ireland on tv at my grandparents farm, that match against France in which he scored 3 of tries . *looks up the date* That was 14 years ago. Bloody Hell. I'm gettin' old.

The beard thing is frankly getting out of hand.

Always fun to watch BOD play, well mostly apart from when he scored against us.

14 years sounds about right. My brother and I were talking and were sure he has been on 3 Lions tours. Great player, no question.

Well at least there's a few more provincial rugby games before BOD is retired for good. Leinster V Munster tomorrow should be good. If I get the chance to see it.

Ah well, I'll claim our trophy now then. ;)

That'll be a nice lead into the world cup, a 6 nations grand slam.

They'll need to start better from now on.

Yeah it looks that way. I thought the Welsh would be better & it's hard to make out how good Scotland are. They kind of threw away both their matches so far.

Mighty tense in Dublin coming up.
