For posting about F1. I may organise my thoughts at some point, but here are the highlights.

Bah to dictator for life, Max Moseley.

I can't believe the track's falling apart at the Canadian GP again!

Go Lewis

Oh wow! Wasn't expecting that at all!

Slapped wrists for Mclaren, they should have been screaming at him about the redlight.

Lewis and Nico made a stupid mistake. They've been penalised for it. The sad thing is that it overshadowed what was a fantastic race on track. Congratulations to the likable polish driver for his first win :)

Now we truly get to find out how good he is. If he can overtake at this bloody track, he can do it anywhere.

I can't see Ferrari taking a 1-2 here, Massa's quick but he's not all too fast, he's been off the road more than he's been on this weekend.

Kimi Raikkonen will win the race though

Well, with Massa it's either win it or bin it. His early days at Minardi still bring a warm glow to my heart

I'll be interested to see if Alonso can make anything of his grid slot, or if it's just a light fuel flash.

Alonso is racing for a podium, and there's a decent chance that he can pull it off... with me saying that Massa will bin it, and with both McLarens penalised (Lewis for Canada, starting 13th, and Heikki for a qualifying faux pas, starting 10th) his only rivals for it will be the Toyota's and Red Bulls. (the BMWs are very slow this weekend)

I'll say:

1. Raikkonen
2. Webber
3. Hamilton
4. Alonso
5. Kovalainen
6. Kubica
7. Glock
8. Vettel

I remember it well. Wait... No I don't. :?

Felipe Massa never drove for Minardi. He joined Formula One in 2002, driving the then Sauber Petronas. In 2003 he was Ferrari's official test driver, and returned to the Sauber team in 2004. In 2006 he joined Ferrari, where he has remained ever since.

Interesting, he has never driven a Formula One car which wasn't powered by a Ferrari engine. (The Petronas engine in the Sauber was a differently-labelled Ferrari engine)

I remember when he first came into Formula One, people were predicting that he wouldn't last the season. Others said how they feared to go near him while racing, worried at what he would do next. His year testing the Ferrari calmed him down a bit, and since then he has been much better at pointing his car forwards.

Takuma Sato is another driver who has had a similarly sketchy path in F1.

I miss Taku, he always had a go. :D

I know some of the drivers considered him to be a nutter, but I liked his style. Any one who would have a pop at Schumacher instead of leaping out the way ASAP, earned my respect.
