Oh my God...I feel so damn happy after reading this letter from my school. Apparently on the 14th of July they are holding a prize giving thing at school, and I have been informed that I have been awarded a prize for the school year 2007/2008 for 'Endeavour in Drama in Year 11'.

Wow, how much better can you get? I'm planning on taking Drama at A-level, and my main aspiration is to be a voice actor. This is just amazing, I was in the top drama group (out of 2) and I still cannot see how I was awarded this. This is just amazing.

Thanks. I just find it amazing, because even though everyone I spoke to found it amazing that I stayed after hours every week to rehearse, almost every other group did.

I hope this means I got a good grade on my GCSE Drama exam xD

Well it was probably infleunced by the fact that my teacher actually liked me xD We once turned a whole class discussion into a 'Grave of the Fireflies' discussion xD

It's weird, at first I hated her guts, but me and her actually became good friends 0.o

My only awards other than this one so far is a Warden's Commendation (Basically the head teacher thinks your work is good) for Maths in year 9, and recently I pwned some year 7s in a 'Design a book cover' competition xD

Congrats, Cpt. Kuchiki. :)

That drama award is almost the same as one I got in Year 11 during a Prize-Giving.

I got a certificate and a nice little glass award/trophy thing, which later got smashed, got repaired and became a copper award/trophy thing. :?

---------

About voice-acting; I wouldn't mind going for it myself. I can do a variety of voices, including an old woman a la Monty Python.

I could go for that. I just wonder what I need to do to become a voice actor...

Knowing my college the prize they mention will probably be another £5 book voucher....can't even buy me a manga book...xD

I'm just so glad, because my Drama group was the best in the school (there were two groups, the good, and the terrible) and we really had a lot of great actors/actresses there....I wonder if anyone else in my class are getting the award as well....

Think only awards I got were for spelling and attendance, way back in the day.

Congrats CK.
