Looks like they were not very popular.

Ok, now I'm lost. This seems to have taken more tangents than one of my conversations. Rei -> catbus -> Squishy -> Haruhi. I miss something?

Oh yeah, I think I remember that

One search through this board for "squishy" later
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/astro-t ... 2008-08-03

Oh and 3 pages of results from this place for "squishy". think we mention it too much or not enough? :)

So in searching for squishy, I found reference to the models, mousemats and someone(I'll mention no Americans) complaining that Barbie never had squishy boobs.

Well they turned up, on the SAME day, and no customs charges :)

Have to say they are pretty nice quality. I've not seen many but some of the ones at the expo are shockingly bad.

Anyway....

First, Rei!

BIG box!

Its pretty big, about 10" (250mm in new money) long overall:

Not the best copy of Rei but I'm not complaining!

The generator wheel doesn't turn:

You can convert it to the targeting headset, can't remember which ep Rei uses it in though.

Now for Mikuru

I'm leaving her as the default happy face:

You can just see the birth mark, thats not dirt:

And yes, they are squishy. And I need a flash diffuser.

The extras:
Image
Sad face, gun, arms to hold gun, 4 signs and arms to hold the sign.

My little collection:

I got Tachi from the first Expo I went to. Can't think of any other figures to get, maybe I need a unit 00 or 01.

My big problem is lack of space to store them.... They are not going back in their boxes, I don't follow the 'never removed from box' methodology.

Nice :D.

What you need is a Detolf Ikea display case. Keeps the dust off 'em and can still be displayed.

I've had to start moving some of my figures back into their boxes. I take the plastic packaging out and just sit them in the box. But it's not ideal :(.

Coincidentally my 2 Blackrock Shooter figures arrived today as well. They entered the country 01/09 and didn't clear customs until yesterday.

Quite a funky cabinet. Although I'd never fill it.

You say that now, but by the time you add Mahoro, 15 more Reis and a catbus you'll need 2.

And Mahoro on a motorbike.

Isn't that a Ducati?? So is that a glimpse of Kodamie's secret stash? ;)

I'd want the giant catbus they have at the ghibli museum.
