I'm assuming they were trade in prices and you didn't take the cash only to spend it in the same place?

Yeah, I took the in-store exchange price having had a quick shufti at the BDs 1st.

You do have to be a member to do that, but all that requires is one piece of ID.

I got one of those wee plastic card thingies they have. Said can be used when trading in and all. They just took my contact details. Didn't ask for ID. So unless they only need ID anytime you're selling/trading them stuff.

May offload a few dvds there myself sometime. I got Incredible Hulk BluRay in there for £8 and think Metropolis for £2.

they can be great for some things but other times see stuff in there for only a few quid cheaper than HMV up the road. but I suppose with all second hand stuff, it's cheaper the older it is. Cashmaker's usually only a couple quid for dvds no matter the age.

Yeah, I think the ID is for selling. It's best to check their sites first, some DVDs are worth 3x more on musicmagpie than cex and vice versa. Most are only worth a £1 or two though.

The cheque came from Musicmagpie, so they are slow but true to their word.
