Seeing as how C4/FF4 are having a season, I thought we'd have a bit of a thread to gather them all together.

Pom Poko, too long, fun and  scrotums as parachutes

Pom Poko was a bit of a bad trip. Seen it once, no real want to see it again.

Watched Only Yesterday.

What is it about town folk and their glorified view of farming?

Not bad though, I never thought I'd think of 1991 being so ancient though.

Ahh. I didn't know we had this thread. :D

I'm currently building my Studio Ghibli DVD collection. Watched Tales from Earthsea today. I really enjoyed it. :D

We should get Ponyo pretty quickly.

Although not in as many cinemas..... I'll have to be on the lookout.

Nothing on BBFC yet.

So unless they go for a council by council release.

I don't know how far in advance they usually get BBFC ratings.

Its sometimes only a matter of weeks prior.

Earthsea was given a cert after I'd seen it at the cambridge film festival.

Like I said, the council can give permission for an uncertified film.

I'm sure the CJB will make that illegal, along with all anime and manga ;)
