I think we've had a discussion about him before, but having just watched Millenium Actress, I felt the need to start all over again.

I think I may have to watch MA more than once to straighten some of it out in my head, it's kind of sad though.

Paprika does seem to be his most complete work (that I've seen), despite being a weird trippy headf**k it does have a more "user" friendly story, however I was a little drunk when I watched it so maybe a sober viewing will leave me a bit more :?

MA is pretty much my all time favourite movie, never fails to bring a tear to my eyes at the end, as for Paprika I thought it was less 'user friendly' than Kon's previous works. The ending to Paprika reminded me a hell of a lot of Paranoia Agent and as weird as this may sound, Paprika was just a typical Kon work, and felt a little disappointed by that.

I don't know anything about Paranoia Agent. Worth seeing or just a mighty headf**k?

It's a bit hit and miss. Never seen TG or Paprika but I really enjoyed MA, though tbh I thought Perfect Blue was a bit too longwinded and lost the plot half way through.

The actress that might have inspired Millennium Actress has died.
