It's not even like they saved huge amounts of money with all the changes of shots, clothing and the like, they must have had to animate almost as much as the same amount of different eps. 2 or 3 would have made the point.

I've watched all Endless 8 now, well apart from when I got bored and started FF towards the end. What a pity, they had a chance to really play with things and instead they made it dull.
[Reveal] Spoiler:
It would have been better if they'd done a Groundhog day thing, but no, so little changes and when it finally does it's tagged on the end of the last ep. I mean they could have at least gone with each character's perspective or something. I guess they were trying to emphasis Kyon's dilemma but he never did anything truely different.

Okamisan - Main dude is scared when people stare at him. He confesses his love to the biggest Tsundere in the world. Fun stuff happens. If you've seen Toaru Kagaku no Railgun or Toaru Majutsu no Index it's a similar art style and narrative.
Look, Neko Neko Knuckles -

Taken BT's usual fare ( :P ), I was slightly worried when I started watching this, but it rather sweet and rarely pervy.

So I watched The Disappearence of Haruhi Suzumiya a little while back and if you like MOHS you'll enjoy it. It does need a lot of MOHS knowledge though.

Finished Okamisan and although it does fall away toward the end it's a nice enough piece of fluff.

I'm actually watching the Iron Man anime since they started showing it on RTE2 over here. :)

Finally finished Gosick, it's a bit uneven, but decent enough.

Watched a disc of K-On and a disc of Lucky Star. Lucky Star did not compare well to K-On.

So remember how *insert name* always used to go on about Big O, I'm watching it. A strange mixture of pulp noir and big robo. Not too bad so far.

Slight issue with Big O, the first series ends like they expected a 2nd half and then they didn't get it for another 4 years and it wasn't released over here. I think.

Finally watched Paprika.

That is a weird one. Like a lot of anime, it doesn't hang about and doesn't try to explain everything. But you can figure most of the story and motives out.

[Reveal] Spoiler:
Such as the main character has Paprika as an alterego because she is so uptight and controlling.

Liked it a lot. The detective's story was an engaging side story.

Only taken you umpty years.

It still more accessible than some of his work.

Finished Soul Eater which was decent enough but rather descended into shouting and powering up towards the end.

Started Tatami Galaxy, good grief you need speed reading skills at times, but it's panning out quite well so far.

Tatami Galaxy is wonderfully weird, but my BD player really doesn't like the Beez disc, I have to manually select each title and it spits me out at the end of each episode. :?

Eureka 7 has it's plus points. :oink:

Is it a compilation, retelling or sequel?
