No macro blocking or anything like that. I'm using a Sony BDP S350.

Not sure yet if it'll be at a bargain price but who has a few quid to spare?

I've gone for two movies - Deadspace: Downfall, and Saiyuki Requiem.
Not seen either but one was £2.99. the other £4.99.

Have read some Saiyuki manga and liked it a lot so looking forward to checking these out.
The Deadspace one is based on a game, but seems cool enough.

DVD.co.uk have a few good bargains on some ADV sets. Full Metal Panic collection is £17.99, Fumoffu is £16.87, teen favourite Elfen Lied is £17.99 and Dai Guard (office workers saving the world) is also £17.95.

http://www.dvd.co.uk/DVD/Dai-Guard-Complete-Collection/DDG100/product.htm

Gilgamesh, Gad-Guard and a few others are also around the same price point.

EDIT: Exelion, stop making me fix your links :(

Forbidden Planet have an ADV sale (strikingly similar to the one Exelion mentioned above) going on at the moment.

http://forbiddenplanet.com/picks/ad-vision/

Only really noteworthy for the fact that, despite it saying "web price" in the above link, all of the deals are available in store too. A bit of happy news for all those people who actually still make physical purchases.

::EDIT::

Well, Planetes was £20 in my local store so apparently it isn't just ADV stuff. They've just slashed the price generally on a load of box sets.

Second hand shop today had a box set of anime which said "over 15 hours of anime". £16. Was gonna get it but then I wasn't sure if was only random episodes or what. It said it had the Bubblegum Crisis series but nothing else said it was a full series.

It's a pence cheaper on Amazon, if that'd be your boutique of choice.

Kanon Blu-ray. Only £400. Get it here.

It's region free & contains English Subs. Also, I believe Kanon was the first Kyoto Animation to be created for HD, so it's not just an upscale.

Still not convinced? Here's some screen shots etc (German blog). Yeah....

For that price I'd want it to come in a gold plated box!

Still it does bode well for eventual sensibly priced BD releases.
