Chaos;HEAd streaming over at the FUNimation YouTube channel. The VN this is based on is from the same company as Steins;Gate, although from what I hear the anime is kind of naff. Still thought I'd let you know.

Also new FUNimation intro thingy.

Mystic Archives of Dantalian on AoD.

Rather like Gosick in that there is a bloke who is a bit useless and an oddball girl who has a thing for sweets and cakes and they solve mysteries, but there is more magic.

AoD is up and it looks much better. Easy to navigate and easy to see what's available. No more bloody twitter spam on the front page. Auto-play video is a tad annoying, especially the front page. It looks like any missing videos from older series are updated. Now let's see how long it stays in this clean state...

It also looks like you need an account and subscription to actually watch anything at the moment (at least past the first episode), not sure what the policy is going to be on free vs subscription streaming. Not complaining though, for some reason I have a subscription until the end of Feb o.O. Not sure what 'Season' means. Access to all videos for the time period = 'Season' or only access to that seasons videos?

It's such a shame then that there's still bugger all I want to watch :).

Yup, looks like free content has gone from AoD.

Shame.

Crunchyroll have now introduced '1080p' streams to their lineup, supposedly with 2x the bitrate of the 720p.

Have to say, from a brief look they don't look that much better (if at all!) and with only 8Mb/s broadband it does suffer.

All the usual claptrap on various forums with someone even saying they are upscales from 1080i. Its very hard to upscale from 1920x1080 to 1920x1080 ;) The 'i' and 'p' really confuses some people. They think it affects resolution for some reason

CR say they are only using genuine 1080p sources... not convinced. Have to say their series are the more budget end of the spectrum so I wouldn't be expecting amazing quality anyway.

FUNimation has posted Haganai, as they're calling it, from last season - also known as Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai - on their youtube channel. And we have access to it :D. I really enjoyed this one and would recommend giving it a go. It's certainly one of the better anime from 2011.
Check it out.

I was also curious if anyone has tried niconico USA? Seemingly we have access to Blood C.

US seem to be getting almost every show across the seasons legally streamed now, which is good. Just need to get myself a US IP or move :P. Or  hope someone competent decides they want some hot UK streaming action.

So does Haganai fit into the usual BT category of anime? 8)
