Eh... can't remember if he used that exact phrase exactly but the accent is pretty bad. It's not Far And Way bad, but still bad enough. I don't mind the cliché of him being drunk half the time or being a bit of a chancer (that's somewhat accurate). I wish they hired an actual Irishman or someone who could do the real accent.

Still hell of a fun game. Going around the west saving people from outlaws and bandits. Of course it really helps if you like westerns. Probably the best game I've played since Silent Hill 2.

9.9 out of 10.

PLaying Left 4 Dead. Been meaning to get it for ages, finally have. Love it.
Killing Infected is clearly something I was born to do.

Now just have to get Left 4 Dead 2 in the near future. :wnw:

L4D2 is a lot better. More variety with the Special Infected and the Dark Carnival level is awesome fun.

I've found this rather crappy looking game - Minecraft. But it's so addictive, I can't stop playing. Basically a random world is generated from different blocks and they all do different things. You go around smashing them, crafting them into useful stuff and build you own world. There's also monsters that appear during night and day cycles to keep you on your toes. Just search "Minecraft" in google and you can play for free (might need to run browser as admin to download the java app). There's also an alpha version that you can play offline if you pay.

Still playing Left4Dead, over and over, but now on the Sacrifice, the new DLC just released. Great to be a PC owner when they release it for free on PCs!
All the other games are incredibly cheap right now, so very tempted to get Left4Dead2. Think the sale ends tonight though.

I've still to try that Sacrifice DLC for L4D2. Currently too busy playing Dead Rising 2. I didn't realise it was on PC. Zombies in a casino, you kill them with anything and everything :D. And some psychopaths, save some survivors, follow a story, all that nonsense too. I'd recommend it if you want to kill even more zombies in crazy ways after you're done with L4D .

Yes seen a lot of Dead Rising 2 from videos on Youtube by Achievement Hunter. They love it and they're the ones I learned about Left4Dead from (well the bigger company they work for called Rooster Teeth).

Wow, Duke is finally coming.

I've recently just finished Singularity. I didn't get what was going on at the end when one of the secret messages says "Don't trust the girl" or some thing like that but nothing ever happens about the message that make the warning worth worrying about.

I'm now playing Dead Rising 2 & Dead Space not getting much through it I don't have much free time now for playing games.

I've wasted more time than I'd prefer on Battlestar Galactica Online.

I didn't want to start a new thread for this so I'll dump it here.

Been playing through some really old games from back in the Windows 95 days. There's a website, Good Old Games, where you can buy DRM free versions that run on the latest Windows. Check it out:

GOG.com

I've been playing Duke 3D, Blood and Redneck Rampage. Hopefully they'll get Shadow Warrior and some of the Duke Nukem Expansions. Just making an account gives you access to some free games too. In particular I'd recommend Tyrian2000, a top down shooter.
Any recommendations for old games in their catalogue you remember that are worth playing?

Oh yeah, unrelated to GOG, Team Fortress 2 is now free to play if you've been living under a rock recently. I recommend giving it a go sometime too.
