GameTap

I found out about this site a few weeks ago. http://www.gametap.com/
It lets you play some old school games legally for free (like Cannon Fodder, Ghouls 'n Ghosts and 1943). So I start playing some of the free games and then realise that in order to play some of the other games listed on the site, you have to be living either in America or Canada. :el:

I just want to know is there any similar gaming websites which allow people on this side of the Atlantic to play old arcade, commadore or megadrive games? I just want to play Streets of Rage.

Well that and New Zealand Story from the commodore. What's not to like about a little yellow kiwi who shoots arrows. :wnw:

And now the New Zealand Story tune is stuck in my head. I played the game on 2 different systems. Think it was the Spectrum and Amiga. And I remember there were differences. Like the first level boss was a big whale. On 1 system you killed it simply by shooting it and on another system you had to let it swallow you then you killed it from the inside. Think the second or third levels was the furthest I got.

Now I'm wondering if Ocean are still going. They were the ones who made or released New Zealand Story I think. And loads of games from back then

Edit: According to wikipedia they are now infogrames UK

Yea if I remember right that game was rock hard but still fun.

Anyway, does anyone know of any similar sites where I could play games legally such as the ones mentioned above without having to be from the States?
