Wii & 360 Price cuts

#1 Post by CastorTroy81 » Fri Oct 03, 2008 3:12 pm

For those interested, I read this on Digitalspy

Sainsbury's is dropping the prices of the Wii and Xbox 360 in its stores from today until October 12.

Trade website MCV reveals that in-store prices of the Wii drops from £180 to £150, the 60GB 360 hardware drops from £170 to £140, and the Arcade 360 hardware drops from £130 to £99.

Industry analysts predicted an aggressive pricing war between supermarkets would arise before Christmas to lure gamers into stores.

Last month, Morrisons slashed all chart games to less than half price, with complaints from competitor GAME, which runs a price matching scheme.

What Ryu said.

However, there has to be more than just the one game to get for the PS3. (Lol at Final Fantasy XIII being on 360. )
