All the early sonic games really stick in my mind. Seeing Hidden Palace and Sky Sanctuary Zone for the first time in Sonic 3 and Knuckles is one of those gaming moments that stays with you forever. Ecco the Dolphin was another one. Probably the first truly terrifying game I played; the final few levels gave me nightmares for weeks.

I remembered on my way home last night that the sound track from Toe Jam & Earl still bounces around the grey matter even now.
That game was designed to freak out people on drugs wasn’t it.

I've thought of another game, the original Rampage, oh what fun was that smashing buildings, breaking walls just destroying everything in your path :D

The one for the spectrum, well i think thats the original, I just got a lend of Rampage for Wii off my marra, haven't played it, damn Wii remote hasn't charged yet.
