There will be photos sometime over the weekend if they let any shambling hulks with camera into the autograph area.

A bit late to the game but the DVDs only came out a few weeks ago. My verdict is that season 2 is decent enough, but I'll have to go with the old cliché, in that the books are better than the TV show.

Edit: Actually the more I think about the new season the more I dislike it.

There's a complete lack of subtlety in the show when compared to the books.

Some changes I hated:

Writing out Jeyne Westerling (who was the daughter of a lord, whose over lords are Lannisters) & replacing her with some other show-only character (the one Robb marries). He only married her in the books initially out of obligation. It goes against books where it was a sense of duty/honour that was the reason for the marriage. Robb being like Ned has the same weakness, to do the honourable thing even if it disadvantages him. The TV show Robb seems far more impulsive.

Joffrey in the books, while still being a rather large piece of shit, is more of a spoiled sociopathic 12 year old playground bully rather than a mini Marquis de Sade.

Littlefinger in the show is an idiot. It tries to make you believe that he's a master schemer but it's not really too smart to go around to more powerful people saying that you know their secrets. Surely that would be an invitation to have his head quickly removed from his shoulders.

Also the amount of sex scenes & general nudity is rather ridiculous (only a fraction of it is in the books) & I honestly feel it takes away from the story.

Never mind running out of old bearded actors, they're running through pretty much every UK actor cult show or otherwise.

Iwan Rheon out of Misfits

Ellie Kendrick from Being Human

Mackenzie Crook take your pick :D

Diana Rigg out of a ton of stuff

EDIT: Oh also was the kid talking to Bran in Love Actually?

Yeah, he was in Love Actually. When I first saw him, I thought he looked like the guy from American Horror Story.

Saw the guy helping Theon, and even though just caught a quick glimpse, I was sure it was Simon from Misfits.

And although I didn't know him myself, a guy at work was saying the guy leading the Men Without Banners is Dennis Pennis

Yeah, Paul Kaye.

Turns out he's been keeping himself busy on a ton of stuff, most of which I've never seen. :D

Surprising ending.

Looks like Dany understood the language anyway as was proven when her new slave girl said something and Dany didn't even hesitate in agreeing and repeating it so that was nice to find out.

Notice Littlefinger speaking with an Irish accent when talking about Ros with Tyrion?

Yup, I thought something might happen, but wasn't ready for that. :D

I did wonder. I was waiting for a reveal, did they reveal what language the dying slave spoke?

Don't think they said the language, but assume it was their native language.

Haha! Nice ending. Smiled when everyone realised she was speaking the language.

And look! It's Torchwood's Owen.

It was the ending most people were hoping/expecting!

Like the the nice touch with Jamie.

Diana Rigg has a good character!

Nice to see they're continuing the whole kill characters you like and expect to make it to the end schtick. :D
