I saw the OFCOM statement on the beeb about the prog in 2008 looking into the kennel club so thought I'd have a looksee on the ofcom website.

Read this due to the mention of Jensen Button:
http://www.ofcom.org.uk/tv/obb/prog_cb/ ... sue149.pdf

Page 31, in the list of complaints where the item in question was not found to be in breach.

Some sad muppet complained to ofcom about offensive language in ET??

Probably the person who did this:

What did they say in In the night garden?!

:el:

Anyway, the ofcom bulletins do make funny reading, the woman from x factor who complained to them cos she was buzzed off stage

You have too much time on your hands, a bit like the complainers really. :P

My highlights included:

Brainiac: Science Abuse
28/11/2009 Sky 3 Sex/Nudity 1

Really? I mean really?

The Basil Brush Show
07/11/2009 CBBC Substance Abuse 1

GTFO!

Some poor bast**d has to process this rubbish everyday.

I wonder how many complains the telly tubbies got for substance abuse ;)

I just wish the complaints about x factor, I'm an ex celeb give me money, and the other such crap would actually get the progs taken off the air.

I read them as well sometimes when bored. Oddly there a lot of complaints for stations I thought nobody watches.

And I wondered the same about X-Factor and Big Brother and the like. Surely if someone phoned up and complained there was a big pile of shite on tv that's encouraging self-harm, they would have to do something about it. :)

I did see one ep where it included experiments/explosions being performed by a group of women in rather kinky clothing. One woman was wearing a PVC catsuit and corset. I was like...

I've been trying to watch episodes of Brainiac again and see if I can see that one again and make sure I wasn't imagining things. Sadly, no luck...

I also wager a tenner that that was the episode.
