That wasn't what I expected. Think I need to see it again.

Good grief, it's almost like a reboot.

Still all in all, pretty good.

It was pretty good, yes. But yeah, characters don't have much of a lifepsan in this show!

Now if only they'd repeat the first 2 series again. :)

So same day as new series of Top Gear on BBC2.

So apparently the American remake aired this week and it was said to be pretty good.

Dunno if or when it'll come over here. Apart from The American Office, have any of the American remakes aired over here? Did Life On Mars air here?

LOM on FX maybe? I seem to have a vague memory of it being somewhere.

From the trailer it looked like the actors were too pretty and they'd sexed up some of the jobs and vampire skills.

Yup, exactly what I thought.
Reminded me of the Red Dwarf american version.

Finally watched it all on IPlayer. Was pretty good. Felt like the story threads flapped about a lot more than usual for the show, and vampires and werewolves seem a lot easier to kill.
Still, enjoyed it and didn't let down at the end. Seems they have another series to come (or hoping for one at least).

Agreed, although watching the Antiques Roadshow was somehow fitting.

It wasn't a great ending and a lot of it doesn't quiet make sense, but it worked well enough.
I thought Phil Davis was excellent too.
