CBS must be spending a fortune on this, can there really be that many fans out there? They are going to have to sell a hell of a lot of copies.

Admittedly the TV masters were rather crappy NTSC 4:3.

Yeah I watched the trailer last night in the 720p setting and when it showed the exterior of the enterprise, I was pretty impressed.
Strange thing is, for the sample disc they're releasing, they're not exactly showing off the quality of the effects in the show. I mean Sins of the Father and Inner Light are more drama based episodes, aren't they?

Having read about them, they sound like the touchy feely snorefest eps (The ones I always regretted watching). They are listed in Entertainment Weekly's top 10 eps list and received awards, so that's probably why. Zzzzzz
