Yes, but you're too slow. We've been talking about it for weeks :P

The 5th series is a bit annoying in comparison to the 1st 4,
[Reveal] Spoiler:
You just want to take Freamon and Mcnulty outside and slap some sense into them.

I've found the homeless thing a pain too, especially with so much of the longer threads trying to be tied up. Does give good linkage to the paper though. AS CT said while back, that journalist is so easy to dislike.

Don't read unless up to date with last night. Really don't.
[Reveal] Spoiler:
Can't believe Clay got off. Not sure if annoyed or delighted though. Also NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FUCKING EPISODE TOO!!!!!

Also, pretty cool seeing snippets of previous characters. Spotted one of the dockers now as a homeless person, and the kid who got out.
Oh, and is there any cop show Munch hasn't been in?

I saw Munch too, it is Baltimore after all.

A couple of the dockers kicked up a fuss at the ribbon cutting that means the end of the Grain silo too.

It's certainly a series built for viewing over a short time period. Who the hell would be able to spot them otherwise.,

I'm surprised at you guys, you obviously haven't watched enough gritty Baltimore based cop dramas in your time. :P

[Reveal] Spoiler:
Omar's death was just right, not some big showdown, just another statistic. As for Clay Davis, sheeeeeeeeeit we all saw OJ Simpson and Michael Jackson's trials. You just have to hire the right lawyer

Wasn't Homocide in Boston? Although sure near there anyway. And the editor bloke played his partner. Kept expecting a hello.

[Reveal] Spoiler:
It was just right. Now we just need someone to get Clair's blood and... oh wait. Shit, he is dead!!!

Oh need to give a shout out for Norman, the mayor's aide, or whatever he is. He lit up Series 4 for me and so glad to see him still going.

No idea why not on tonight, but oh well, two to go. :pop:

Nope, Homicide: Life on the Street was Baltimore.

I thought I recognised Gus. Older and fatter but still Meldrick.

Well that was a fucking excellent final episode.

[Reveal] Spoiler:
Ok, so was very circular, the new generation so to speak, but liked that about it. As Cheese was saying before he was interrupted, everything keeps on going.

Got to say, loved who became Comminisher. Forgot about him.

Yeah I was glad it turned out better than a lot of the season
[Reveal] Spoiler:
So did you think Jimmy had really died somehow? I did at first but then copped on that it was like a leaving do. And Michael as the new Omar was pretty good after all that happened with him.

One thing, though, was I liked how they gave glimpses of where all the characters were from previous seasons, excpet felt Poot was shoehorned in by sticking him in the shop.

Yeah liked the catching up, but never going too far. Poot was a bit odd but he also seemed very jaded that brief bit we had last season. After Bodi, guess he had nothing left in the game.

[Reveal] Spoiler:
No I knew what they were doing from the start. Could say it symbolised the end of the character though. Was interesting that we got no idea what he did next, whereas others we did see them in their new roles.

Yeah, liked the Michael thing too. Ok, giving him a shotgun seemed a bit much, but then maybe shotguns are the favoured choice of the stickup guys. Would make sense. He needs to go to charm school though, miserable bugger. 8)

Seems Duquan is the new Bubbles, which is a shame, yet very glad to see the one character who really did come good was Bubs. Loved that one simple end bit of him going up the stairs to sit at the table.

Still fucked off Templeton got away with it. Easily most dislikable character in the whole show. One weakness I'd say was we never got to explore this 'bad guy' in the way we often did others. Just seemed your standard shitty reporter. Don't see why the cops couldn't have said the 'killer' was too deranged to call anyone and revealed his false abduction claim. Would have given Gus his day.

Not a bad ending all said and done. Could have done without the 10 mins of dull cityscapes though.

[Reveal] Spoiler:
Yay, Mcnulty going to do right by Beadie (maybe).

Pfft to Herc, dumb as a cop and even dumber as a scumbag lawyer's investigator.

The cityscapes were just to show the locations of the past 5 seasons. I thought it was a nice touch showing the docks and all.

Yeah, the city was kind of the central character.

[Reveal] Spoiler:
Pfft indeed to Herc.
