So what do we think?

It didn't grab me instantly (the motorbike bit sucked), but by the end I think I will be watching it.

I notice Joss is starting with a equal helping of fanserve for both men and women.

I've been saying that for a while now. One of the guys here likes her in Sarah Connor and I told him that if it got cancelled she'll probably be in Dollhouse.

Glau and Whedon have previously worked together on Angel and the short film The Serving Girl.

Haven't they kind of left out the little things called Firefly and Serenity which they've worked together more on.

I just got caught up with this show. I'd completly forgotten about it whilst Sky+ recorded the lot.

Like everyone else I wasn't stunned by the first episode, after watching a few I think it's quite good. I'll keep watching. :pop:

Yeah it's bedding in.

I'm enjoying it, I think it has a fairly limited life if the Dollhouse stays intact. It could get rather repetitive if all the they ever did was have Echo doing something amazing every week.

Hmm I see your point. Echo does seem to be remembering small things, wonder what that'll do to the organisation if it collapses.

Yep, smileworthy.

This was one of those prep episodes. Tie up a load of plot points and introduce some changes.

So the extra episode seemed like a series wrap episode. Like they felt that they weren't going to get recommissioned. It's a bit dark.

Yeah, though I see they're saying now they're not gonna ignore that it happened and will have the characters from it appearing in the second season. Though don't know how that's gonna work since they can't really have the same actors if they have to play themselves 10 years younger.
Like are they gonna have the 30 year old Felicia Day play herself at 20? They would never do something like that. Not like they ever have 20 or 30 somethings plaing teens.

Is Joss Whedon going to have room for all the shiny new cast members he keeps on snagging?

Where to go if your show ends. Reaper, Sarah Connor Chronicles, BSG and Alexis Denisof. :D
