Finally my Sky subscription is worth having again

The new series Bones is starting tonight. Heroes starts next week and for the unknown, there's Fringe, the only thing I know about it is that JJ Abrams is involved

Has anybody heard about anything else?

Isn't the rest of BSG appearing sometime soon?

Um, really struggling to think of much else. The appeal of tv now is so poor. Think I'd rather go and get the Wire on DVD and check that out.

I watch Prison Break so I have that. Heroes of course. Burn Notice starts on FX beginning of October(5th I think). Think it's starting its second season over in the States and first here. I hear it's pretty good. Another series I see advertised and have heard mention of is Eli Stone starting on Sci Fi.

And going from that list, Sanctuary is the new sci fi series which actually started as a web series with fully cgi sets. Starring Amanda Tapping, aka Samantha Carter.
John Adams, HBO miniseries which has gained rave reviews, though may help to be American?

Oh and not forgetting Fringe stars Joshua "Charlie" Jackson. :D

Also watching The Wire season 1 and Friday Night Lights Season 2 on Channel 6

Sorry, completely off topic, but I just read CT's sig. Even though I know the jokes and where they're from, they're classics and had me laughing away!
(he wasn't dead then! :wnw: )

Good to see some other shows about. If not for the Daily Show and the Colbert Report, be little I would actually be watching - and can see those online.

Not forgetting that the new series of TSCC has Shirley Manson in it. Who saw that coming?

What are LivingTV like when it comes to showing it usually? I know they're not the quickest with Criminal Minds.

Well watched last night's Burn Notice and the first ep of Eli Stone tonight. Plussing the second ep.

I'll give Burn Notice a try. I was expecting a serious show about a former spy on the run. Instead it's a light hearted show. It has Gabrielle Anwar doing an Oirish accent. I'm sure there's an Irish actress somewhere in the world. Actually I think we have one in Ireland!
But the show also has the man they call Bruce. Well I assume they call him that considering his name is Bruce Campbell. :D

Eli Stone looks like it could be a funny, quirky show. I caught a few episodes of Wonderfalls when it was on, about a girl who has inanimate objects talk to her in order to have her help people. Looks like this show will be along the same lines. Random visions with meanings. And George Michael in a vision is a wee bit random.

Also I see Zone Horror is repeating Millennium. May watch it this time around.

I saw Sanctuary tonight. A rip off of Hellboy really, and Amanda Tapping does her Mary Bobbins impression. In fact half the cast seem off Stargate, plus one from BSG.

Still, had promise and could be worth keeping an eye on.

Did you happen to see the web series? I'm just wondering if need to watch that first. Saw the first ep with David Hewlett in it.

Haven't seen those. Sure read that those were better. Think some people are puzzled that SciFi made these webisodes saying wouldn't go to tv, then went to tv and not as good.
