A victim of overhype. Well at least you didn't see the uncut version. So wrong

But you found out whether it was possible to out-act Alec Baldwin.

And have used the "Now I have seen everything" repsonse line a few times. "Really? Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?"

For me, if you watch it with the Bay/Bruckheimer movies in mind, then you see how well they have done.

But the AIDs song always makes my jaw drop. Better than the uncle fucker song.

Yes, I saw all those influences and the side swipes at Gerry Anderson. Even the rockets that harked right back to those old black and white Buck Rogers tv shows.

The Bay song was particularly evil 8)

Now that bit I did like, amazing how gruesome it was too, when the cats found the food in the puppets and tore them apart.

Seeing celebs die is always fun. Janine Garofalllo (whatever) getting shot in the head was brilliant.
There's good stuff on the dvd about making that movie.

Right Ho.

Another one down. School of Rock.

It was fun, kinda cheesy and if it had been anyone but Jack Black it would have gone straight to video.

The script was, well, err, straight from WGA heartwarming stories 101.

Fortunately no really annoying kids in it to spoil it.

Bit stereotypical too, "gay" one does costumes, big black girl has amazing voice and all the parents drove Volvos

Another one down Shaft(2000).

I enjoyed it in a brain out and enjoy the ride style.

Heavy use of the original sound track was good, I enjoyed that and it seemed fitting in the light of Isaac Hayes recent death.

The old testament twist at the end was a surprise too.

American Psycho.

Kinda fun at times, but a bit WTF at the end.

Anybody read the book and does it make any more sense?

Whilst I don't like my hand being held in films, this one I could have done with a bit more explanation.
