I was reading that Heroes will only have 18 eps next season due to low ratings this season

The bloke that plays Suresh must be cheesed off. Do that stuff for last week's ep only to have it cut from there and dumped into the reminder at the beginning of this week's ep.

The americans do love their retro black and white back story eps.

There's something very familiar about stormy weather while in black and white.

Just seen it will be 18-20 episodes, but to be honest that's no bad thing. 25 seems way too much, and I'm just glad they have another series.
Let's hope they don't do yet another reboot.

Ok, so the three boys - one is Linderman, the other Bob, although we never see his power.
Black kid is Charles Duvo. AHHH. I was just typing that I don't know who that is, but then remembered bloke Peter looked after in the first series!!!!
So he had mind powers too? Seems half of them did.

You'd think people like Arthur and Adam would have been more involved, but oh well.

Was it just me, or did this whole 'here's where the answers lie' bit not actually reveal the history much, just gave us another Petrelli?
Also seemed unnecessary. At first they had just found each other and set up the Company, just as the new generation were finding each other.

I wish they'd stop fucking about with past stuff and get on with the present (like President Sylar), which is why, again, I think fewer episodes could be good.

Hmm, well it wasn't end of BSG bad but I'm not sure that really worked.

How come everyone forgot about Clare's resurrection abilities?

Liked the way they trapped Sylar though. :thumb:

Give Hiro his ability back and then tell him he can't use it. Pffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffft!

I liked it other than the fact my mum kepts saying "What's going on?"

She was getting confused with Sylar's shanpe shifting abilties. ARGH!

*ahem* I thought it was good how they caught Sylar too. I mean they were never going to be able to kill him were they? This does mean that we now know part of the storyline for the next volume. Sylar is going to get his memory back and he's going to be SO angry. What else though??

Oh yes and ICE WOMAN IS BACK!!! :wnw:
Why yes, I am bored. How could you tell?

Water woman now. Some CGI tech spent many an hour lovingly shaping that watery bottom

I did notice that. When I saw the beginning of that scene I actually said aloud "Yey! Finally someone who can control water. I've been waiting to see this ability." (I thought that ability would be cool in chapter one and have been waiting for them to catch up.)

When I saw the bum I did say "Oooooo and it's a woman."

Imagine the amount of studying he had to do to make sure he got it right. Wonder how hands on he was. :P

The thing I was wondering about is what happens when Nathan tries to use his power and can't fly.

According to the online graphic novel, Matt didn't just make Sylar believe he's Nathan. He transferred Nathan's mind into Sylar's body and erased Sylar's memories.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who noticed the arse. Was pretty sure who it was as soon as I saw the water, but once you see that, you know who's there.

Um, so Matt spends ages telling Daphne they're meant to be together, and then she dies and he has a kid and he's off with his ex. Ok, tha's makes sense.

Or how about the big showdown. That was cool! I mean great to see after all those endless smugfest scenes with Sylar doing the same old bit, great to see a proper whupping delivered by the Petrelli brothers.

OH FUCKING WAIT
WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT SHIT???
Big fight that we've been waiting for over three series, or four volumes, and we get Claire peering through the crack in the door. Shitting hell.
Reminded me of the South Park episode with the greatest battle of all time in heaven, which you don't see.
That was just fucking poor.

Also the whole Sylar is now Nathan thing just felt weak to me. So now we're going to have lots of bits of Nathan checking out clocks are we?
For fucks sake, kill Sylar for good and get a new villain. Simple. And get some old characters back - Copycat, the Haitian, more Micah (man was Rebel underdone).
I get the feeling the writers on this show are in teams and sit in different rooms and never talk. :el:

But for all that, was cool, glad they have some of the characters back on track and this series/volume did have more of the arc that we had in the first. Characters pushed forward and you did feel like the ending was something we arrived at, now happened by.

Oh, and another gripe. Sylar spends a whole episode whining about his shapeshifting being out of control, and yet he can move his 'spot'?
And what a whiney, pointless, smug, pointless, prick of a villain he is.
If Rimmer or Bernard Black has his powers half the cast would be gone!
Also what is with Mohinder being caught all the time?

If they can just get back to the character dynamics that made this show so good then it can be great again. But if next time is more revealing the history and the Petrellis vs Sylar and Claire acting up and Mohinder getting caught and the rest, I'm going to be upset. :(

But Noah still works for me, liked Denko (or whatever), Hiro and Ando are still fun, and Mama Petrelli is still a conniver up there with Moriarty and Mr Burns.

Don't know why they didn't do more with Rebel. I mean in the comics they've really given him plenty to do. In the last 2 issues it showed how he became Rebel.

Wass reading somewhere that, going by the casting calls for season 4, they're making Carnivale. :)
