Enders game... meh. He goes all Shinji Ikari. I'm told in the book he really goes Shinji.

Gravity (in 3D), probably one of the few films I will ever watch in 3D, (the Hobbit 2 trailer was in 3D and it was horrible, a series of flat layers). Very good. Not exactly scientifically/spacily accurate but quite gripping.

The hunger games - Catching fire.

Pretty good although Jennifer Lawrence gets pretty annoyingly screechy in places.

Yup, I enjoyed it too. Watched HG on BD on Sunday and popped down the cinema tonight.

It ends abruptly.

Oh and the Hobbit 2 trailer is far less shitty and unpleasant to watch in 2D.

Watched Under the Skin, whoa boy that is weird!

Plus point, Jeremy McWilliams is in it and he has still got it.

Man of Steel. Enjoyed some bits, not so much others. Think the moaning is over the top but so is the praise.
Did like Zod though. Felt he was more interesting this time round.

Bit late, but "Well Duh!" :P

Michael Shannon played him, he may not interview well but he's a damn fine actor.

Haven't seen Man of Steel yet but I agree with that assessment. Michael Shannon is a terrific actor, even in not so good films he's always been great.

I saw Blue Ruin and X-Men First Class. Quite liked the former, wasn't impressed with the latter. I was surprised how cheep some of the effects looked like in First Class.

Interstellar is not very good. Think contact mixed with 2001.

It's better than The Hobbit part III. My mind wandered during bits of that and what Billy Connolly's voice is doing in there I'll never know. It doesn't work and neither does his cgi face.

Less said the better! Am I the only one who thought of fat bastard when he came on screen? Ooooh I could eat a baby!

Yeah The Hobbit was a long film that felt like a long film.

Being replaced next year by Star Wars.

George Lucas has long since crushed my soul when it comes to SW matters, but hopefully JJ can do something fun with not too much lens flare.

Yep, Project, you were the only one. :P

I don't think many people have much affection for 1, 2 and 3.

I'm on the fence about JJ.
