So Iron Man 3's great. Funny and great action. Also some good buddy moments as you might expect from the guy who brought us Lethal Weapon and The Last Boy Scout.

And not to mention a really unexpected opening song that brought a smile to my face. :D

Star Trek, the wrath of Cumberbatch.

Pretty good, predictable as heck in places. Has robocop in it and Alice Eve is fairly tasty.

Yup, it's fun and pretty good in places, but I think JJ may have overplayed the lens flare. :D

Personally I reckon someone without knowledge of the pre JJ Trek would enjoy it more.

Yeah and think I also may have enjoyed it more if I hadn't seen the trailers.

I've taken to avoiding all trailers for any film I want to watch, they ruin all the best bits.

Really enjoyed the movies I've seen over the past month:
Man of Steel
This is the End
Now You See Me
Pacific Rim - guessing if this is the closest we'll get to an Eva movie, that would make Rinko Kikuchi Rei.

After the quality movie that was Sharknado a couple weeks ago, I watched "Hobo With a Shotgun" on film 4 on Saturday. Nice fun movie if you don't mind a bit of over the top gore/violence you'd expect from grindhouse or Troma movies.

Plus the song at the end credits was completely unexpected when they used

Oh that was where I knew that song from! :wnw:

Yeah was daft and OTT, but pretty much guessed it would be the case. Was fun just seeing Stanley Tweedle not being Stanley.

It's pretty good, though I did spend half the film playing spot the UK track dressed up like some other part of the world. :D

Paul Ricard looked astonishingly similar to Brands Hatch.

Just rummaging through the cast list, I totally missed that the TV reporter was supposed to be Stirling Moss.
