Anybody listen to podcasts?

My current faves include:

Jon Richardson on 6 music : Old git in a young man's body
Mark Kermode Film reviews : Old git in an old man's body
Fighting Talk : Lots of grumbling about sport, including football ( :( )
Russell Brand : Sex pest but fun
Science in Action : A bit of education

Hmm, there seems to be a lot of grumbling in my podcasts

And maybe a new addition, not sure yet.

Le Show with Harry Shearer

It's a bit strange, but funny at times.

Listen to the Kermode and Mayo show, and I do enjoy Fighting Talk, especially with certain guests on.

Can't think of any others though. I used to listen to the radio a lot but lost touch with shows more and more. Barely even listen to Radcliffe and Maconie or Marc Riley anymore. :(

Probably all busy with their new fangled video games. :|

Just been looking at podcasts on the BBC. No Radcliffe on Radio2, no Riley on 6Music. That's two I actually want! :el:

Ever since ye two started waxing on about M & K on the RAC I’ve been listening to it off and on. Also listen to the Off The Ball football show and the John Giles weekly Q&A both on newstalk.

And? You like?

I guess I won't be listening to the Russell Brand or Jonathan Ross one for a while >.<

Well I wouldn't still be listening to them if I didn't like them. :) I liked Kermode anyway, but the banter the two have is enjoyable.

I don't get why Russell Brand is so popular.

Maybe he was funny 'cause he didn't write the part he played, I don't know, never seen the movie. To be honest I have intense dislike of the man.

I never really listened to any of his stuff. I just changed over anytime he came on tv. He's on the list of things that cause me to change stations along with Westlife, Reality TV shows, Daniel O'Donnell and football.

And back on topic, I don't download podcasts. What size would they usually be, like for the M&K one?

Anywhere between 10Mb and 20Mb depending on what dull sporting or political event interrupts the ranting 8)

Although do miss out often on the banter with the travel or news people that enter and have to sit as they bicker. :D

Hmmm, do we get special listener points for recruiting someone? Should do.
