Age: 21
Location: Scotland
Favourite Anime: Excel Saga, Azumanga Daioh, Fruits Basket and Chobits
Favourite Manga: Kingdom Hearts and Return to the Labyrinth
Favourite Books: Too many but I love Robert Louis Stevenson's work
Favourite movies: All Dogs Go To Heaven, Blazing Saddles, Clue and Dark City
Previous Jobs: Work for a book retailer, a bakery...
Current Job: Work part time for a computer game retailer and I am at university full time. Intend to get a management job soon in a well paid area once I gradaute (in May)! I am also a pirate! :shifty:

I feel really rather special for being invited here by Alex. This seems like a lovely close knit community and I hope to make many friends here and hopefully fit in. I would love to make this post larger but it is late and my head is pretty confused from being up too early today. Um... yeah so I like anime, reading, learning, making new friends and appreciate honest people with random personalities. Guess that's why I like Alex because he's so lovely but random ! Anyway I do look forward to posting and hopefully fitting in a little.

Howdy and welcome!

And we were just talking about Clue not so long ago! Good and varied taste in movies. (Coming from the guy who seems to have questionable taste.)

All Dogs is great. The sequel is okay and the Christmas special was cheesy and suited it. :P

Clue - Tim Curry as the butler. Not as good as when he played Darkness or Pennywise but funnier.

Dark City - Vastly underrated.

How about Labyrinth? Since I see she's listed Return to the Labyrinth as a manga fave. Wonder what that's like. Surely not as good as the movie. :D

Oooooh, newbie! Hello, newbie.

Dark City is the Matrix for smart people. Blazing Saddles is just, well, REVVARD! (however you spell that thing the drunk shouts)

Robert Louis Stepheson is an excellent choice too. Treasure Island is a great book, as is Jekyll and Hyde.

Dead men don't bite!

Awwwww I suddenly feel so loved with all these lovely welcomes... apart from you Kodama, I heard good things about you, but you are obviously a meanie!

CastorTroy I absolutely LOVE the Labyrinth, due to the fact I was tired I excluded a few of them from the list. I do not read a lot of manga Kingdom Hearts and Return to Labyrinth are the only two I read and you are correct with your assumption that it is no where near as good as the film - it sucks in comparison and the characters ALL look like women which really annoys me.

All Dogs = AWESOME I cry at it every time. I have the sequel which, I didn't like as they didn't have Burt Reynolds do the voice and made Charlie a bit of a pussy whipped mutt instead of a gambling addict smooth talker.

As Alex will confirm I am absolutely MAD about Tim Curry so I agree that Clue is one of his funnier sides, Darkness is so underrated (and his part was hardly in it for as awesome as it looked!), Pennywise terrifies me to this day! Although I am not frightened of clowns. I also approve of Muppets Treasure Island as he is a very hot John Silver :shifty: ... *cough* ANYWAY, before I have to go and change my underwear...

Dark City, bloody fantastic film! It is underrated and I am saddened by this. =(

Caster I think I must hug you now because you are going to be someone I can discuss my films with! *goes to take a picture of her DVD collection to share*:

Old Git, I am glad you agree with my film taste to a point and also Treasure Island is one of my favourites as is Jekyll and Hyde. =D *big hugs*

I have a vast taste in films Kodama so don't go judging me matey! XD Anyway guys I cannot thank you enough for the kind (and semi-kind) welcomes. I really appreciate it.
