This R Srius forum lol

Anyway, anime on TV:

Cowboy Bebop:
AnimeCentral 9pm - 10:30pm

Dinosaur King:
Jetix, but I'd rather watch big brother

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
Anime Central 10:30pm - 00:00am
Scuzz - Friday and Saturday - 00:30am (apparently)

Mew Mew Power
PopGirl

N*ruto:
Jetix
Jetix+
Around 8ish isn't it? can't remember exact time

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl:
Cartoon Network, around 6pmish

Yu-Gi-Oh! and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX:
Nickolodean (I know I can't spell it, sue me!)

Not that much if you think about it.

I think they air other anime on Jetix too....do they still repeat Shaman King? 4Kids best dub

It's so annoying, I looked in the paper today and saw this was on and forgot all about it and went out shopping. :/

I've never seen it as well! :O

I think it was the dub they showed today and (contrary to my usual stance) its not very good. Plus they would have cut it for a 1pm slot.

ZOMFG!!! Dey iz cuttin amine!! :safesex:

Actually I watched Princess Mononoke in an afternoon slot on Film 4 when they were running the Studio Ghibli season and it was uncut.

Channel 4 / Film4 have no choice in the matter, Studio Ghibli have a strict 'no cuts' policy on all of their movies that all stations that want to air them must adhere to. Even Cartoon Network in the US aired all the movies in afternoon slots without edits.

Yeah, I remember reading somewhere that when it comes to editing, Studio Ghibli are VERY strict. You can understand though, you don't want an idiot ruining a brilliant piece of art just so some lil kids can watch it.

Seriously though, what kid will watch Princess Mononoke?

I remember first time I saw it was subbed, and I actually like the dubbed version, except where they obviously had to change 'Shinigami' and the other one....what was the forest spirit called again?

That was done to stop farces like 'wind warriors' happening again. If you're going to dub it, don't chop it up.

It doesn't stop the odd scene being cut for TV broadcast, which happens all over the world to Ghibli movies.

Someone on the AC board mentioned that .Hack//Sign was on Scuzz. Anyone else see it on?

.hack has shown up on the scuzz listings several times, each time it wasn't actually there.

I'm pretty sure CSC no-longer has the license to show it.
