Anime Showings on the big screen

#1 Post by kodama » Fri Mar 20, 2009 12:23 am

I spotted this and thought we need a thread for all the showings that happen.

This way if anybody spots anything they can bung it in here. I think there maybe something from the BFI in June too.

For those that must see Ocean Waves before everyone else.

11th-12th July at the Richmond Art College. It doesn't say what day or what time though

Enjoyed Ocean Waves, nothing too heavy, funny and sweet really. I'm guessing Disney ignored it due the period references.

Mad person in Kon cosplay.

Not as busy as you might have thought. Full to capacity though.

To say the least.

Managed to chose a room with support pillars in it and put the screen opposite the only window that couldn't be blacked out. :el:

Didn't spoil the film though. It goes in the short, nostalgic and fun pile rather than the long with an environmental message pile. :D
