Well going by Exelion's post on RAC, yes. Cos they're going out of print.

The thing which has annoyed me most about this situation is the lack of information about what the current status of UK ADV market is and how badly this will be affected by these troubles, as all information that has circulating has mainly focused on America

Yeah I know but titles are still being released in the UK from ADV, I was wondering would it be the same for this market, and what of the future releases

If ADV US loses the license then so does the UK.

Thought so it was just the lack of info to clarify this, cheers :)

From what I gather all that has happened is the rights have been transferred from ADV to FUNimation, and PaniPoniDash is on the list. Surely that means it's not going out of print....or have I missed something  . I went ahead and bought Air & Kanon myself since it looked like ADV were going under, but now that FUNi have got the rights it was not necessary.

The rights have been transferred, that doesn't mean all of ADV's property has been. ie dubs/subs and all the finagling involved in publishing the DVD.

Ah right I see where you're coming from now. I was aware that all the dubs/publishing are not transfered, just "out of print" to me suggested the series will not have any more DVDs released ever. So it's more if you want ADVs version now; or wait and see what FUNi do with them.

Indeed, the dubs etc.. will remain ADVs. Never mind, got PPD on order, mostly at £7.99/disc.

Yep, and from what I've read on TAN, I don't think ADV will be donating anything to FUN. It looks like it's a pretty nasty and vicious affair.

I'd look to it being whatever the usual license announcement to release timeline is. Months I guess

Its all very silly really, in the end its not going to help anyone, least of all the Japanese anime maker if a series is stopped part way through its release to then be re-released from the start in a different format (ie VAs, script/translation etc..)

Its playing into the hands of the fansubs.
