Ahhh... today is so much nicer. Sun is out, breeze is blowing, a little bit of cloud and my hayfever meds are working.

I don't think I will visit Boston today, it seems a little warm for me.

Did you kill your car?

OK, I'm bored of the snow now, well more I'm bored of driving a third of the normal speed and taking forever to get anywhere. That and the brass monkeys want their balls back.

Nah car is alive, just getting out of my town - and then the return from my work car park to home - is a nightmare.

I went in (forced my way in) on Tuesday to find only the locals in the office. So that was a waste of time. Then I got stuck like a billion times getting out of the car park and up a hill which had been reduced to single lane. If you pull in to let them past you ain't getting back out. Stupid up-hills . At least there's loads of cool people willing to give you a push start :thumb: .

There's even more snow now than on Tuesday, at least double. There's so much that the kids have been digging tunnels under it.

8" of snow overnight here, my car is firmly stuck on the driveway.

Probably only another 3 or 4 here, I've cleared my car, but have yet to actually try and go anywhere.

It's amazingly quiet outside.

Drove home around 5:00, I have never seen it this quiet. There were more walkers than cars at times.

The main roads are okay-ish now round here, it's just getting to them that's the tough part. There's still plenty of abandoned vehicles from Monday though.

Today next to nobody left the street in their cars - I think everyone has just given up for the week. The snow round here has formed a thick layer of ice underneath, so it's more like an ice rink with snow walls to bounce off. Walking is by far easier than hoping your car can gain and maintain traction with something.
