Ugh why in the hell does music production have to be sooo bloody expensive?

So I forked out 300 plus qid for Ableton Live and couldn't use it for months. Just forked out 60 quid for tutorial lessons on how to use it for production and DJ-ing, and now I'm looking at a very pretty and shiny, but stupidly expensive KORG MicroKontrol MIDI board for just short of 200 quid.

Does anyone else here by any chance do stuff like this?

Um, no.

But surely it will all be worth it when you're like mega famous and filthy rich? :wnw:

Hmmmm I wouldn't mind a Mac either, but it's well known that me and anything Apple don't get along. I can't use a bloody iPod without breaking out in hives ffs.

A real MiniMoog? I'll turn on the pig landing lights ;)

More hope of finding a Mellotron in working order!

Unfortunately anything good and music related is expensive.

Well at least a MiniMoog is more reasonable than getting a Synthi 100. Those things are as rare as rocking horse shite and can quite easily occupy a small house. Jack Dangers has one, and that is why he is the man. It's about the only one left that actually works.

Although with the MiniMoog, I could get the Voyager if I had 2 grand.
