No idea about work permits. Never needed one.

And £13 is nothing ;)

But it's not enough if you want the full weekend. :P

Hmmm, maybe with thinking like that, I could work in McDonalds

I think you need a work permit if you're from outside the EU. So not really an issue for you.

http://www.mcdcareers.co.uk/docs/AI.pdf

A UK passport comes under list 1 which only has a 1 item requirement.

Me wanting to get a job to fund my anime? And on second reading, I have 2 of the things in list two, so that'll be good.

But yeah, I was looking at the weekend price 0.0 I could raise the question with my older brother, he's always wanted to go to a con (My parents wouldn't let me go to London alone.....in fact, they barely trust me anywhere)

'fraid I can't do anything abroad unless it's between Mid July and September. If it's in Dublin, I can work with it. Maybe do one in Dublien next year?

London is a bit far for me. Plus being broke doesn't help matters.

An FAC meet up?
Sound like a giggle,
Meeting at the London Expo sounds like the best idea, nothing worse than meeting random people from the internet at a “neutral” location only to work out your conversation peeked on the internet.

Ah so you mean at least at the convention, you can lose them if you get fed up with them? :D

exactly! :shifty:

At least at a convention you have a mutual accepted meeting place, that supplies topic s for conversation, food, drink & acceptable toilet facilities.

Okay, I think the best thing to do here is maybe have SP update the first post with those who say they may go. That way can have a handy up to date list.

I won't be going anyway.

No, no, don't get upset that I won't be there! :P
