I'm currently at university in my last year of 3 studying for a diploma in nursing, my course was free to enter (well if you have the correct qulifications) and I get a bursery of £500ish a month (I don't have to pay any back). You have to pay for the degree course and don't get any free money, see why I chose the diploma and when I qualify i can make the diploma up to a degree through different modules to get the credits :D

4 years of college to do a BSc(Hons) Computing Science degree. 3rd year was placement year. And after all that it took FÁS course to get a job in computers. FÁS is the Irish equivalent of whoever you register with when you sign on the dole to try and get you a job. :?

The aforementioned Grant and his best friend Stu Dentloancompany (that second one doesn't really work) furnished me with the money I needed to get through 3 years of BA (Hons) Film Studies. Of course I now owe a ridiculous amount of money to the government but on the plus side I have a first class degree that means my opinion on films is so vitally important even God has to ask me what to get before he goes to the video rental store.

I'm currently at Uni. In Scotland the Student Loan company pays for our degree courses (there is a cut-off somewhere that old people have to pay :P ). We then used to have to pay some of that back before graduating, but since the SNP got more power in the last election this was scrapped so now it's free. We can also get a loan which we have to pay back, but I get the basic amount (~£750/year) because of the amount my parents earn, and I stay at home. I've also got a Scholarship of £500/year that I don't have to repay, just need to keep getting high marks. Next year I go back I'm hoping to apply for a 2nd Scholarship to get more monies.

Oh, and all the money above goes into a saving account just to get interest. I use my wages to pay for food and any other things I want, I don't really spend a lot of money.

My older brother's Sixth Form College have said they have secured him a place at Cambridge University. Because he's a 'genius' yet he can't figure out how to work a DVD player.

I don't know if I want to go to Uni yet...still need to decide between lawyer or actor....I could be both! 'OBJECTION! I need that role damn it!'
